Additionally, the HETAC ensures that all participants receive sufficient and high-quality support needed to succeed as champions for health equity through infrastructure development, planning, and implementation. They are here to help you through this process, both during the program and after you return to your organization to offer training to staff. Your Health Equity Coordinator can help you with subject matter support, health equity strategic planning and policy development support, resource identification and participant professional development and retention. In-person meetings are not always viable and organizations often utilize web-based meeting programs like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Skype.
