Curriculum and Training
The curriculum was developed by a team of highly qualified experts in health equity and built from the validated Tool for Assessing Cultural Competence Training (TACCT) Framework. The program duration is six weeks. During that time participants will complete six self-paced e-learning modules and two live online sessions (one at the start of the program, “Launch Day” and one at the end of the program, “Landing Day”), for a total of approximately 10 hours of learning time.
The six e-learning modules are:
- Health Disparities
- Bias & Stereotyping
- Community Strategies
- Cross-Cultural Communication
- Equity in Communication
- Implementing Change for Health Equity
Please note that the Health Equity: Health Providers Train the Trainer Program is not mandatory training. The training is voluntary only.
